If you are a confident user of your operating system, and if you understand what I mean when I say "your files should be organised into folders", then you can possibly skip this section

Your files should be organised into folders. When you design your website, you can end up with quite a large number of files. So you can find them quickly, get them organised.

Suppose your website is going to have four sections -

• about us
• where we are
• products
• contact us

Make four folders to hold the files relating to each section. Name the folders for the sections, so you don't have to do mental gymnastics translating folder names into section names.

And create another folder for images (call it "images").
