setting up
This is by far the hardest part. There is a bit of technical stuff involved. There are helpful hints provided in various places. Check the bookshops and newsagents for books and magazine articles.
Your ISP will more than likely supply you with step-by-step information to help you set up.
Making the Connection
To start a session on the Internet you first make a connection by dialling your ISP. Depending on your provider, the next step is to logon by typing your name and password. Once you have logged on the rest should be plain sailing.
The initial setting up is quite complicated and can cause headaches. However, once it is done, you don't need to do it again. And if you do, it's easier the next time!
